The campaign trail keeps heating up on the campaign trail and we at Eco20/20 love to watch it. While both candidates say that they have plans and have given some vague answers to becoming energy independent and clean, they have yet to say anything new.
The current path of the administration has put an immense amount of money in alternative energy and have put forth the goal of having a 25 by 25 US. Meaning, they want to have 25% of our energy come from alternatives by 2025.
So, while both candidates have put forth their ideas of energy independence, none of it is really new.
Oh, well, good luck to all the voters. Don’t forget to vote for one!

I have to disagree. The cap and trade system Obama is suggesting is new. For a more detailed account I would check out his site or do some more reading.

Bunny you are right. I would point out that McCain as well offered a cap and trade proposal. It seems on this issue there is very little difference between them. Seemingly the main difference is McCain is really gung-ho about nuclear power.
