Recently I attended a conference that was title green tech expo.  Maybe it was due to my ignorance, but, I thought that there were going to be companies that had innovative ideas about energy, or at least some cool tech products.  I was sort of wrong.  While there were some very neat companies that did technology things, the green part was, just a gimmick.  I was hoping to bring some cool new products or ideas being used to get us towards clean energy. 

With that being said, while I may not have found what I was looking for, it is nice to know that people are thinking about green, it is after all, the first step.  I look forward to wring and bringing cool new  clean energy product reviews and that people continue to visit the site, tomorrow we will be posting a new video.  Friday will bring a new review and guest article.

This week I had a very frustrating week, while we got the newest video up, it was not without extreme frustration,  I hope people like the videos.  Wishing everyone in the United States a Happy fourth of July.

The campaign trail keeps heating up on the campaign trail and we at Eco20/20 love to watch it.  While both candidates say that they have plans and have given some vague answers to becoming energy independent and clean, they have yet to say anything new.

The current path of the administration has put an immense amount of money in alternative energy and have put forth the goal of having a 25 by 25 US.  Meaning, they want to have 25% of our energy come from alternatives by 2025.

So, while both candidates have put forth their ideas of energy independence, none of it is really new.

Oh, well, good luck to all the voters.  Don’t forget to vote for one!

I do not understand why the UN and US and Europe for that matter have not done more to help the worldwide food shortage.  While many people and organizations have found that the use of food products for biofuel’s is creating this shortage, no one is doing anything.  Why?  I am all for clean and renewable energy, but seriously, this does not seem like the moral thing to do.  I could be wrong, but corn should be for food, not gas!

I am well aware of how bad Styrofoam is bad for the environment.  However, I need to relay a story.  A while ago 7-11 switched their coffee cups from the white foam cups to the paper cups with a paper holder for the cup.  Great, that sounds like a great thing for the environment.  I bought my cup of coffee this morning and alas they were out of holders.   I ended up using two cups instead, but, STILL BURNED MY HAND!

Does anyone else have a similar story, I am fine with not using Styrofoam, but, is there something else to replace it with that is just as insulated?

Is Cold Fusion real, possible, big hoax.

We want people to be informed.  Hopefully there are some legitimate affordable cars on their way.  Unfortunately, Zap does not seem like it is one of those companies.  We hope we are wrong.
